I designed these Casita earrings as a tribute to a simpler time. Houses in the country side of Puerto Rico were often built from wood and sat on stilts. Chickens would run free in the yard and a hammock might hang on the balcón or between two trees.
I feel very rooted to my heritage and love to celebrate all aspects of it.
I hope these bring a bit of whimsy, love and or nostalgia to you.
They are mounted on stainless steel posts. Please do not bathe them in any way and though they are sealed, they could be scratched if they come in contact with sharp objects.
These are available in wood (cut and painted by me) and acrylic—also cut by me.
