This is an engraved Bamboo cutting board. The engraving is of the island of Puerto Rico with a Mandala theme.
The board measures 8.68 by 5.875 inches and is just over 1/4 inch wide. This is a smaller sized board that might be used to cut fruit for drinks, serve as a small cheese board or used for decoration in the kitchen.
As with all engraved boards, care is necessary to maintain its appearance. It should never be submerged in water or placed in the dishwasher. If used to cut, it is recommended to cut on the side that is not engraved. It should be washed with soap and water and oiled with food safe oil when needed.
These boards are made to order and with any natural wood product, the grain can vary as well as the darkness of the engrave. I will do everything in my power to provide you with a similar board. I hand make each one and finish them in a food grade oil for protection.
