This piece features layers of black, maple and mahogany wood encased in a wooden frame painted a shiny gold. The art features the Taíno symbols for the coqui, sun, water, turtle, snail and Atabey, the goddess of fertility.
This one of a kind art piece measure approximately 6 by 6 inches and a little over 1 inch deep. It hangs from twine, it can be hung from affixed hanger or it can sit on a flat surface. This small piece can demonstrate your pride in Taíno and/or Puerto Rican culture and would look great anywhere. It would fit nicely into a small space like a bathroom or kitchen too.
